BREAKING NEWS!Thanks to Sabrina Wisher-DeWitt and Mikayla’s Miracles & Blessings Foundation, we had the happy privilege of meeting Ashley & Rob Eickert, and received an incredibly generous donation, in honor of their mother & grandmother, Cheryl Turley.
Cheryl was “the cool lunch lady” at Flathead High School from 1984 through 2022, a staggering 38 years. Throughout Cheryl’s career as a lunch lady, she would secretly pay for student lunches for kids who could not afford a hot lunch. There is no way to quantify how many lunches she sponsored out of her own pocket. She was passionate that kids got the opportunity for a nutritious meal.
On May 19th, Rob & Ashley spearheaded a Glacier Street Rod Association Inc. Memorial Cruise & Poker Run, and raised a very impressive amount of money to relieve student lunch debt in Flathead County, in Cheryl’s memory. Sabrina Wisher also stepped in with funds and put the cherry on the sundae! We are grateful to the Rob Eickert family, Sabrina Wisher, and Mikayla’s Miracles & Blessings for this donation. We live in the best community in America.
No child should bear shame for lacking the funds or access to school lunch, and every child deserves the same meal opportunities.
